ITV commissioned OnePoll to conduct research into women’s trust in police for their Good Morning Britain show.

 

This exclusive survey of 2,000 women nationally representative across the UK, examined the impact of the host of violent crimes against women by serving police officers, alongside report of police failings, on the erosion of trust over the past 12 months.

Key findings were that only 11% of women across the UK trust the police completely. Additionally, 30% have a worse impression of the police than this time last year and 1 in 7 women believe there are some areas like London, where there are more bad police officers than good.
